Roberto Firmino has never been one to hide his affection for wife Larissa Pereira, and the pair headed out to sea for one final holiday ahead of the Premier League season.

The Liverpool star previously celebrated a win over Everton by kissing his wife on Snapchat, and now the pair have taken their public display of affection to Instagram.

Firmino posted a snap of him and his partner sharing a smooch on a boat in the Mediterranean as they sailed into Porto Cervo in Sardinia.

The pair sat on the bow of the yacht for the photo, after previously laying in the sunshine to catch a few more rays before heading back to England.

Alongside the post, Firmino quoted lyrics from a song by Brazilian artist Thiaguinho, titled ‘In Our Room.’

It read: ‘We are going to enjoy just us two, without thinking of what happens next,’ before he sent a message to Pereira, noting: ‘My promise is to make you happy’

Brazilian forward Firmino was also involved in Liverpool’s Audi Cup campaign in Munich

Firmino appeared to be delighted to be reunited with his wife, after a gruelling pre-season schedule which has seen Liverpool travel to Hong Kong for the Premier League Asia Trophy, before visits to Berlin, Munich and Dublin.

Now, though, attention turns to the league campaign, and Liverpool’s opening tie against Watford on Saturday.

The Reds will be hoping to mount a challenge for the Premier League title this season, and Firmino is sure to be vital in Jurgen Klopp’s plans.
