She’s just revealed that her relationship with singer Cody Simpson ended because he ‘dumped me’.

But Gigi Hadid certainly isn’t sitting around moping.

Instead the 19-year-old model cheered herself up by sunbathing on the deck of her private yacht in St Tropez – and it certainly seemed to be doing the trick.

An Instagram snap showed her laughing as she lay on her back, revealing her perfect bikini body.

A carefully chosen patterned green thong string bikini highlighted the teen’s slender figure, which brought back memories of her mother – former supermodel Yolanda Foster.

When she wasn’t checking out the sights from a luxurious yacht, Gigi cooled off in the sea.

She took a dip in the ocean, and sported long wet locks following her swim.

Gigi, who appears with her family on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills, seemed keen to ensure her fans knew she was having a good time.

And so she posted a carefully chosen selection of snaps onto Instagram.

One was with her father Mohamad and brother Anwar, in which she captioned the snap: ‘my boys!’

She was much more covered up in that photo, sporting a white blouse and pink sunglasses.

‘Give me that peaceful, wandering free,’ she tweeted.

Another shot captured the water, complete with clouds and the sun setting in the background.

Gigi recently opened up about her split from Cody, 17, setting the record straight after months of speculation about their split.

‘I love Cody to death and he loves me,’ the model told WWD.

‘He needed his time to focus on his music and he’s the one who broke up with me.’

But she added: ‘We’re still best friends and I’ll always respect him and support his career.’

Since that interview, the couple briefly reignited their romance when Gigi joined Cody on his European tour this month.

But at the end of July, Cody told Australia’s The Morning Show: ‘It’s complicated. I guess I’m on the market again.’
