Beyonce’s arrival in Sunderland for her Renaissance tour caused quite a stir, with fans eagerly waiting for her to take the stage at the Stadium of Light. However, the excitement was heightened when a rumor spread that she and her family were spotted taking a walk on Roker beach early in the morning.

The news quickly went viral, with fans rushing to the beach to try and catch a glimpse of Queen B. Even Metro Radio’s Steve and Karen’s Breakfast Show received a call claiming that Beyonce, Jay-Z, their children, and bodyguard Julian were on the beach at around 7am.

Although a fan who headed straight to the coast was not able to see the celebrity family, Twitter was abuzz with speculations and excitement. But, unfortunately, it was all in vain as later reports showed that Beyonce and her entourage only landed in Newcastle after 1pm that day

Despite the false alarm, fans were still thrilled to see her perform on the Sunderland stage, marking her return to Wearside after seven years since her Formation tour. Her Instagram post confirming her arrival in Sunderland made fans even more ecstatic, with Sunderland being at the top of her profile.

Beyonce’s Renaissance tour began in Europe earlier in the month, with the first show of the UK leg happening in Cardiff. The pop icon then switched to Scotland, entertaining a packed house at Murrayfield before descending on Wearside for her much-anticipated performance.

While fans were hoping to catch a glimpse of Beyonce on Roker beach, they still looked forward to seeing her onstage and enjoying her music.
